About Savvy Software

Savvy Software is a privately held corporation based in Portsmouth, NH.  The idea for Savvy Content Manager grew out of our work developing database driven web sites for clients of Harbour Light Productions (Now Harbour Light Strategic Marketing).  These clients wanted the ability to update their own web sites without having to use HTML, FTP or any other technologies used in web development.  In 2001, we implemented our first version of Savvy for the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce (they are still customers today).

As a group, we believe that technology doesn't need to be intimidating, that not taking venture capital isn't a crime and that a warm sloppy dog kiss can be its own reward.

Our development team is headed by Joshua Cyr, who has been using ColdFusion since its' original release in the mid-1990's.  Josh is active in local community groups and a local ColdFusion and Flex User Group Manager. 

Bill Savoie is the founder and President of Savvy Software.  He heads up the Sales and Operations functions of the business.  He is also active in community groups and has served as a board member for area non-profits.  He is currently on the Board of Trustees for Bridgton Academy.
