School's New Savvy Website Delivers Classroom Transparency
EPPING, NH November 10, 2009 -- Savvy Software announces the launch of the new website for Epping School District School Administrative Unit 14.
The purpose for designing the new website stems from the growing need to keep parents, students, faculty, and surrounding communities well informed. “Our intent is to increase accessibility and transparency, and our new website does this,” said Barbara Munsey, Superintendent of Epping School District SAU 14.
The new site features independent areas dedicated for the elementary, middle, and high schools. Each of these school sections contains a staff directory, school closing information, employment opportunities, and student guidelines and policies making it easier to locate pertinent announcements and school happenings.
Additionally, the website has powerful calendar integration, with multiple viewing capabilities. Users can view all SAU 14 calendar events, or use the filter to specify viewing such as athletic schedules, individual school events, or special programs.
“We have received positive feedback regarding its professional look,” added Munsey. “As to operation, we have found it to be intuitive for school personnel, with a wide range of technology skills.”
Epping School District is a NH community school system serving approximately 1,100 students from preschool through grades twelve. The high school provides a college preparatory program for all students in grades nine and ten using a team approach with additional program options in grades eleven and twelve.
