NH Non-Profits Technology Conference
We had the opportunity to present Savvy CM at the NH Center for Nonprofits first annual Technology Conference yesterday. I was impressed by how well organized the event was for a first time show. I was also struck by the technology gap that exists at so many non-profits. From donor management, document storage and web site maintenance, the technology challenges are many and varied.
The keynote speaker, Katya Andresen from Network for Good, offerred some excellent insights about turning agency websites from "About Us" to "About You". I will be adding her book to my summer reading list.
I know we'll continue to add non-profits to our family of clients (watch for the announcements here). What I took away from the conference was less about technology and more about the approaches organizations need in order to flourish in a technology-driven society.
