Content templates

A content template is a .htm or .html file (in the editor context) that you can insert in page at any time. This file contains a certain structure/design that you often need when editing online content. The main role of a content template is to reduce work time and minimize editing.

You can create your own templates in the editor by putting together a design in the visual editor. Then select it all, right-click, and choose the Save as Template option:

 

In the Remote File Explorer window that opens, use the Save Template As text box to name the new template file (the accepted extensions are .htm and .html). It will be saved on the remote server, in the folder of choice:
